Rafting was quite the adventure. The weather was perfect and our group was great. Hubby was the our guide. We hit some rapids perfect and others not so much. We have the honor of being the first group of rafters to every have flipped hubby's co-worker's raft. It was an exciting day filled with adventure and fun!
When we stopped for lunch there was this great rock with deep water below where we jumped off. The picture doesn't do it justice but it was a long way down and a lot of fun.
The kids spent their days watching after the dogs. FiFi was in love with this little Jack Russell Terrier, Darwin, and carried him around camp all weekend. We had to watch her when it was time to leave Monday because we all thought she might try to sneak him in our car to take home all for herself.
B's favorite dog was Creole. Creole isn't much of a lap dog but B tried to make him one.
The whole trip was great, great company, great setting, great food, and great adventures. I can't think of a better way to have spent Memorial Day weekend and I can't wait until we go back and do it again!
On our last day at Ohiopyle we hiked down to Cucumber Falls and let the kids swim in the water fall. The kids had a blast and hubby and I enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful setting.

Okay. YOu commented on my quiet mellow getaway but this getaway looks AWESOME!!! I love all of these activities! And I have not been rafting in forever!! My youngest is just turning three so I think he needs to be a little older and then we will have to give it a try!
